Artist Watch: Dylan Sneed

Hello Friends,

We want all of you to watch out for a Texan artist by the name of Dylan Sneed. His EP entitled “No Worse for the Wear” is a little gem. His musical cues can be found in the likes of Lou Barlow and his soft sound is soothing and rich. Sneed’s release is a sure hit among all who listen for a true sound with real feeling. His songs give you a classic folk sound mixed with a modern perspective by including such instruments as a synthesizer. The sound in general is warm and rather inviting. The first song of the EP entitled No Worse for the Wear is a sing along with an inspiring rhythm that’s sure to be a head bobbin knee clapping experience. Getting such a great experience for a mere $4.95 is a sure bargain and we hope everyone goes to his Myspace or Official Website and snatches themselves a copy. Even though Sneed is based out of Dallas and loves the south, his sound can be appreciated by us up here in the North as well as anyone out there in the county. Sneed is set out to have some life changing experiences in the coming months as he sets out on his “Texodus” tour in which he will move from texas to South Carolina for good. Leaving Texas will be no easy path but playing shows along his way to South Carolina he is sure to meet his new musical family and add to his old. The tour is set to start August 30th–the big move out day. Overall, Dylan Sneed is a remarkable songwriter with a real ear for folk and indie and is a must check out artist.

Cheers from all of us here at Lonely Hollows.
